Natural Environment:

Rio Martin Cultural Park is in the northeast of the Province of Teruel, in the Aragonese branch of the Iberian Cordillera, in the middle course of the River Martin. The incision of the river and its tributaries into the mountains in a southwest-northeast direction has shaped a landscape formed by steep canyons cutting through the Cordillera, whose structures, folded in a northwest-southeast direction provided the natural geological section in which the tectonic structure and its geological formations can be observed. To the south of the Park is the limestone massif of La Muela (Montalbán), 1295m high. At its base, various tributaries of the River Martin meet, whose source is in the foothills of the Sierra de San Just.
