I Pilastri delle Incisioni
L’arte dei guerrieri in Valcamonica a cura di Angelo Eugenio Fossati.
Alla fine del 2° Millennio a.C. e poi nel corso di tutto il 1°, l'arte rupestre della Valcamonica presenta tematiche relative al mondo dei guerrieri. Figure di armati in duello o in schieramento, cavalieri, scene di caccia al cervo, scene di corsa o danza, animali iconici (uccelli, stambecchi, serpenti) e numerosi simboli, inclusa la rosa camuna, popolano ora il mondo delle incisioni rupestri. L'autore propone un breve excursus cronologico dello stile IV di Valcamonica, affrontando i vari temi presenti nell'arte rupestre di questo periodo e proponendone un'interpretazione complessiva legata al mondo dell'iniziazione della gioventù aristocratica e guerriera.

I Pilastri delle Incisioni è un ciclo di conferenze in programma fino a giugno che ospiterà alcuni dei di alcuni dei massimi esperti del settore come Angelo Fossati, Umberto Sansoni ed Emmanuel Anati.
