Natural Environment:

The cave is at the foot of a large limestone hill, with hardly any vegetation, surrounded by meadows and barns, west of the River Miera.


Archaeological evidences in the site:

The middle course of the River Miera has a large number of Palaeolithic and Mesolithic sites. In the immediate surroundings of the cave, there is Salitre Cave (closed for conservation reasons), El Collado, El Llerao and El Rascaño.
